Join us on July 4 for the Berlin launch of Taklak by Dilşad Aladağ, from 16:00 to 21:00.

The book launch will bring together different layers of Taklak: archives, traces, materials, and a performative reading. At 19:00 sharp, Dilşad Aladağ will present a live performance.

Published by maḳām editions this spring, Taklak is the outcome of an artistic and archival research unfolding since 2022. Printed in 500 copies in English and Turkish, the book follows a plant native to the Mediterranean and moves through archives, landscapes, languages and coasts.

Come early, have tea with us, spend time with the materials, and wander through the taklaks of İstanbul, Adana and Leipzig before we close our doors until September.
