Taklak by Dilşad Aladağ
An artist book developed through long-term artistic and archival research around a plant native to the Mediterranean and its many names, representations, and mythologies across languages and geographies. TAKLAK brings together notes, images, botanical references, and collected materials to form a multi-layered assemblage reflecting on belonging, borders, migration, and resilience. Moving between ecology, etymology, memory, and landscape, the book constructs a hybrid narrative situated between personal experience and collective history.
